Windows 7 beta part 2

So, now it seems to be going well using a different installer iso (the checked build version). It all seemed so promising as seen in this screenshot, but I was to be disappointed once again. This time it's a different problem that thwarts me. After configuring the virtual machine to boot from the normal iso image I finally get Windows 7 Beta installed.

Windows 7 beta

Well, it's been a while since posting anything but I felt this was too good an opportunity to pass up. I spent most of the day downloading the windows 7 beta, along with several thousand other entheusiasts. The results were a little disappointing to say the least. As you'll see in the picture, the installation didn't really go according to plan. Shortly along the "windows loading files" phase of the installation the error throws up 0xc00000e9 unexpected I/O error. No idea what's causing it at the moment but part of the problem might be that I'm trying to run it in VMware workstation. I've tried removing all the devices from the initial configuration but it still won't boot. :-(

techdays 2008

I've just come back today from Basel where I sat through the first day of Techdays 2008.It was quite a revelation to see what Microsofts new releases of Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 and Visual Studio 2008 are bringing to the table.
